Flooring Replacement

Our Customer preferred to have luxury vinyl flooring installed in both guest bedrooms instead of the existing carpet. We made it happen.

Front Porch Remodel

Due to deterioration below the decking, the homeowner’s front porch and eave began to sag, creating a potential hazard in the future. To combat this, we removed and replaced the existing decking down to the blocking below with new treated lumber and replaced the original 4x4 posts with new treated 8x8 posts, straightening out the front roof eaves in the process. On top of this, we also replaced some fascia affected by rot in the front as well as on the side of the porch and added decorative lumber to the front-facing gables as requested by the homeowner.

This project was a delight for us to be a part of it.

Kitchen Remodel

in the homeowner’s words

“In early 2022 my wife and I started our long overdue kitchen remodel. Once we finished the design and sourced the materials we started with the process of finding the perfect GC to bring our vision to life. We felt like our design was a little different than most and were worried about finding the right fit for our remodel--ABBA was literally the only GC in the area that really listened to what we wanted and was confident enough to step up to the challenge, which they executed flawlessly. I value precision and attention to detail and ABBA did not let me down, and for that I'm extremely grateful. This was the first major renovation we've undertaken and we weren't quite sure how the process would go but after a week or so of getting to know everyone our minds were put at ease. Hiring ABBA for our kitchen remodel was the best decision we made and working with Carl and his team was an absolute pleasure and we can't wait to do our master bath next year.”

Kitchen Remodel

Our client’s perspective

“I wanted to thank you for being such a good contractor to me. I want you to know you have been a wonderful company to work with and the work that y’all did was superb. Y’all did everything that I wanted you to do and you did it so much better. You answered all of my questions and you always returned my phone calls- that was a good thing… and you took me shopping.”

Roofing & Remodeling

in the homeowner’s words

“Consistent and holistic. They’ve been a recurring team repairing and replacing all manner of issues at our house including flooring, roofing, plumbing, and walls.

A straight-shooting contractor that solves the problem and everything around it.”

Bathroom & Fireplace Remodel

A new shower was framed and tiled. The floor and shower walls are natural marble tile with accents. Dual shower heads were installed with a conventional wall mount, and niche, as well as an overhead rain showerhead. A new cast iron clawfoot tub and free-standing faucet replaced the old tub. A granite countertop with under-mounted sinks was installed. New lighting and a fresh coat of paint rounded out the project.

The pictures do not do it justice!

Bathroom Remodel

Every item except the vanity was replaced. We enlarged the shower and added a Trugard Linear drain, marble-topped bench, and pony walls. Larger water lines were installed to support multiple shower heads. A jetted tub was replaced with a freestanding tub and faucet set. A new marble countertop, vessel sinks, and accessories were installed. Wainscot was added throughout the room, the vanity mirror was trimmed to accommodate new lighting, and the floor was completely re-tiled with wood-look tile flooring.

Fresh ideas and fresh paint make a big difference.

Additions

We removed an existing standalone two-car garage and added this beautiful three-car garage. The three-car garage would not be complete without a freshly built mud room whose entryway now leads into the home and even includes a screened-in porch. Not to mention the new sidewalk & driveway additions- the drive up to this home now has more than curb appeal. To top it all off, the lighted cupola leads you home with its shining copper roof and weather vane.

This homeowner had concepts we enjoyed seeing come to life.

Exterior Improvements

We repaired the siding, gave it a fresh coat of paint, and replaced two damaged post supports on the porch cover. We also accommodated the customer’s request to back his trailer into the backyard by installing a ten-foot wide metal framed double gate, along with a new six-foot privacy fence. These exterior improvements were all preparation in the hopes of the homeowners selling this home in the future.

The quality of these improvements was much appreciated by the homeowners.
